Upon receiving my order of the Port Authority Soft Shell jacket, I found myself quite taken aback. The jacket didn't align with my established expectations of what a soft shell should be. Rather than upholding the standard thickness and lining usually associated with a soft shell, this jacket was noticeably thinner. Its overall design and feel was more akin to a nylon windbreaker than a traditional soft shell jacket. My disappointment lies in the discrepancy between the product's description and its actual nature, though technically, no falsehoods were stated. I just wish it was more transparent about being a windbreaker-type jacket, rather than a soft shell.
